Modge Podge Bird on painted canvas

I can't believe I didn't start using this "Modge Podge" medium sooner. You can do it on just about any surface. I'm looking forward to branching out into furniture decorations, wall accents, etc... I think I may Modge Podge my boring brown leather phone case cover next.
It's so much more than adding elements to a painted canvas, but I will share my latest projects here incase you would like to try creating yourself.
  • I started by painting a 12x12 canvas green,  canvas from Michael's Craft supplies.
  • I then modge podged leaf shape cut from different colored tissue paper, also from @Michael's Art and Crafts
  • The tissue leaf shapes were purposely leaning out in a foilage design pattern
  • I clipped a bird shape from card stock normally used for scrapbooking
  • I also cut out a shape of tree from card stock
  • Cut out shapes of bird feather and flower found from random magazines
  • cut out words from magazines to form the saying "life goes on"
  • I used a sharpie pen for the legs and head feather
