- First you need to buy the 'glass glue'. The 'E6000' and the 'craft goop' both in tubes, offer a strong bond but the drying time takes a little longer. You could cover with masking tape to hold in place if needed. Or the 'krazy glue' made for glass adhesion offers faster drying time, although not as tough. I found these at walmart.
- Any color glass bottle or jar can be used. The lighter the bottle for the 'all marble' effect is brighter and lighter. The darker glass offers a more tuscan feel for the grapes and the vine.
- Embellish with fake vine, gold painting pen (found in the craft section of walmart) wrap with rafia, whatever colors or design you choose.

Recycled wine bottles posing as pretty lights
I have used recycled wine bottles as flower vases or painted stand alone decorations before. However embellishing them has taken them to a whole new level. The twinkle of the lights inside can brighten up a dark corner or serve as a pretty night nightlight. The glow from the clear colored marbles offers interest as well. Since most people won't have a glass drill bit to house a string of lights to enter the back bottom of the bottle. I included instructions to glue or decorate a jar to accomodate a candle by dropping inside.
